Writing is a critical skill for K-12 students, yet it has been deprioritized in both evaluation and curriculum development. This neglect, combined with teacher burnout and high turnover rates, has led to low student proficiency scores and inadequate teacher preparation. Ethiqly aimed to address these issues by leveraging AI technology to enhance writing education while maintaining academic integrity.

Our goal was to develop a platform that could improve student writing outcomes, facilitate effective teacher-student feedback, and foster meaningful connections in the writing process.

To address these challenges, we conducted extensive research and led cross-functional teams through participatory co-design sessions, brainstorming, and usability testing. This collaborative approach ensured our solution effectively addressed real user needs.
